Aligned Marketplace is the only national, value-based primary care and specialty network aiming to connect 160M+ American employees and their families to better, more affordable care that was previously not available to them. Historically, it has been difficult for employers to access this type of care – which can save organizations up to 15% of their medical spend – because of the limited geographic coverage of these clinicians, difficultly engaging high-risk members, point solution fragmentation and complexity of direct contracting. Aligned Marketplace solves all these problems by offering this network to employers through one contract, directly communicating with their members and managing value-based payments to clinicians as we pursue our mission to increase America’s healthy years.

You will be joining a very mission-oriented team at an early stage startup working to connect 500K+ current members across the country to value-based primary care. You’ll be highly impactful with visibility across the company in an evolving but demanding role that will enable you to operate with extreme ownership!

 

You will be primarily responsible for implementation and ongoing account management of Aligned Marketplace’s direct primary care network, and enabling these clinicians to succeed in the Aligned model. It will be imperative for you to work across major functions such as Engineering, Provider Growth, Support and Enterprise Sales as we work tirelessly to meet market demand. Initially, you will:

  • Own clinician implementation workflows end-to-end, from onboarding through ongoing enablement, ensuring integrations are intuitive and complete.
  • Train and support provider groups on Aligned's tools and referral workflows, driving consistent adoption across the network.
  • Work with Engineering, Product, and Operations to identify breakdowns in member handoff, data exchange, and payment workflows, then design and implement standardized processes.
  • Serve as the link between Member Support and provider groups, translating member feedback into concrete operational changes that improve the patient experience.
  • Own ongoing account management by building strong relationships with provider groups, synthesizing their feedback into a clear view of the highest-leverage product gaps, and making the case to Product and Engineering for what to prioritize.

You must be mission-oriented with a deep interest in healthcare and a bias toward action. It’s imperative that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional written and verbal skills. You'll regularly face ambiguous, high-stakes problems with limited direction and be expected to drive them to resolution. 2-4+ years in healthcare operations, provider relations, account management, consulting, or similar high-ownership roles is strongly preferred. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days weekly in our New York City office.
