Aligned Marketplace is the only national, value-based primary care and specialty network aiming to connect 160M+ American employees and their families to better, more affordable care that was previously not available to them. Historically, it has been difficult for employers to access this type of care – which can save organizations up to 15% of their medical spend – because of the geographic fragmentation of these clinics, difficultly engaging high-risk members, siloed point solutions and complexity of direct contracting. Aligned Marketplace solves all these problems by offering this network to employers through one contract, directly communicating with their members and managing value-based payments to clinics as we pursue our mission to increase America’s healthy years.


You will be joining a very mission-oriented team at a Series A, n of 1 startup working to connect 500K+ current members across the country to value-based primary and specialty care. You’ll be highly impactful in a demanding role that will enable you to operate with extreme ownership!

You will primarily be responsible for scaling Aligned Marketplace’s network of high-quality, independent primary care clinics (oftentimes referred to as Direct Primary Care). It will be imperative for you to work closely with the Operations, Support, Growth Marketing and Enterprise Sales teams as we work tirelessly to meet market demand. Initially, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end clinic growth workflows for long-term success of high-quality, independent primary care groups on Aligned Marketplace.
  • Drive awareness of Aligned Marketplace as a no-cost patient acquisition channel through conferences, partnerships and scalable outbound marketing campaigns.
  • Build trusted relationships with clinics to assess their strategic fit, operational readiness and participation within the network.
  • Lead contract negotiations with the primary care clinics interested in joining the network.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from signed partnership to implementation by partnering closely with the Support and Operations teams to drive onboarding, activation and ongoing adoption of Aligned Marketplace’s enablement techniques and products.
  • Partner cross-functionally with the Support and Operations teams to improve and standardize clinic onboarding, data exchange, payment workflows and ongoing operational processes.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Sales team as an internal advisor on clinic coverage and capabilities for complex employer opportunities.

You must be mission-oriented with a deep interest in healthcare and a bias toward action. It’s imperative that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional written and verbal skills. You will be expected to solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems with limited direction and 2-4+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, investing, high-impact operating roles, sales, or account management is strongly preferred. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days weekly in our New York City office.
