Aligned is the only national, advanced primary care and specialty marketplace aiming to connect 160M+ American employees and their families to better, more affordable care that was previously not available to them. Historically, it has been difficult for employers to access this type of care – which can save organizations up to 15% of their medical spend – because of the limited geographic coverage of these clinicians, difficulty engaging high-risk members, point solution fragmentation and complexity of direct contracting. Aligned Marketplace solves all of these problems by offering this network to employers through one contract, directly communicating with their members and managing value-based payments to clinicians as we pursue our mission to increase America’s healthy years.
You will be joining a very mission-oriented team at a Series A, n of 1 startup working to connect 500K+ current members across the country to advanced primary care. You’ll be highly impactful with visibility across the company in an evolving but demanding role that will enable you to operate with extreme ownership!
Aligned is hiring a Consultant Relations Lead to build and own the company's relationship with the health benefits consulting and brokerage community. This person will be the primary commercial bridge between Aligned Marketplace and the consultants and advisors who shape and influence employer purchasing decisions. This is the first dedicated consultant relations hire at Aligned. It is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has personally built and closed consultant-influenced deals, cultivated trusted relationships inside major consulting firms, and converted those relationships into repeatable pipeline.
Initially, you will:
• Own the consultant and broker channel as Aligned's primary path to consultant-influenced employer deals
• Build deep, productive relationships with national and regional benefits consulting firms that generate consistent and growing deal flow
• Educate the consulting community on advanced primary care and position Aligned as the credible, go-to marketplace solution
• Generate a steady flow of consultant-sourced RFPs and shortlist placements as the leading indicator of channel health
You must be mission-oriented with a deep interest in healthcare and a bias toward action. It’s imperative that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional written and verbal skills. You’ll regularly face ambiguous, high-stakes problems with limited direction and be expected to drive them to resolution. 8+ years in healthcare consulting or consultant relations.
