Patient Enrollment Activation Specialist
Overview
Aligned Marketplace is on a mission to extend America’s healthspan by connecting employees and their families to high-quality, low cost, advanced primary care. We’ve built a national marketplace that makes it easier for employers to offer care that’s better for people and more cost-effective. We’re a fast-moving, early-stage company, and we’re looking for a contractor to help members get set up with their best fit doctor.
About the Role
We’re looking for a contractor to help convert inbound member interest into action - specifically, helping members enroll in a primary care clinic and get scheduled. This is a member-facing, operationally focused role that blends consultative support, decision guidance, and operational logistics.
Members reach out with questions via email, SMS, or chat. This role is responsible for seizing that moment of interest, delivering helpful, clear information, and guiding them through the process to enrollment. Once a clinic is selected, you’ll support scheduling and benefit activation.
This is a remote, hourly contract role from September through January (approx. 30-40 hours/week, with some flexibility). This contractor role has the potential to turn into a full time team member.
Responsibilities
- Drive enrollment conversions by responding to inbound member questions (via chat, SMS, and email) and guiding them toward a clinic decision.
- Present clinic options clearly, explain the benefit, and proactively address blockers or confusion that may prevent enrollment.
- Schedule appointments once a member selects their clinic.
- Triage and resolve member issues, escalating complex blockers to a nurse / expert as needed.
- Track and document all member interactions and status updates in internal systems.
- Maintain responsiveness and quality, meeting SLAs on turnaround time and clarity.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of support workflows and internal documentation.
What You Bring
- Excellent communication skills - clear, empathetic, and persuasive when needed.
- Comfort navigating and guiding member decision-making conversations.
- A sales & service mindset with operational rigor: consistent, organized, and accountable.
- Tech-savvy: comfortable using CRMs, scheduling tools, and Google Workspace.
- Able to work independently and reliably in a remote environment.
- Bonus: Experience in healthcare navigation, benefits support, member services, or customer success.
Time Commitment
- 20-40 billable hours/week from September through January
- Eastern / Central time zone location preferred, Eastern time zone standard business hours are required
- $50/hour, 1099 contract
